PRIMARY EMBRIONAL RABDOMIOSARCOMA OF THE LEFT DIAPHRAGMA AND ANTERIOR MEDIASTINUM

Rare case report of alveolar rabdomiosarcoma of left diaphragm and anterior mediastinum is analyzed in this article. Surgical treatment was as a part of complex treatment after chemotherapy. Patient was operated on, resection of the mass from the anterior mediastinum and resection of the left diaphragm were performed. Also the grafting of the diaphragmal defect with aortic prosthesis was performed. This case of alveolar rabdomiosarcoma of the diaphragm and anterior mediastinum is published the first time in Lithuanian pediatric literature.
