The ar­tic­le is de­vo­ted to the his­to­ry of Lit­hu­a­nian pa­e­diat­ric al­ler­go­lo­gy sin­ce 1926 till 1990. The main scien­ti­fic work of this pe­riod is rep­re­sen­ted by dr. A. Amb­ra­zie­ju­te - Ste­po­nai­tie­ne (1930), prof. L. Ste­po­nai­tie­ne (1968) and as­soc. prof. Re­gi­na Ėmu­žy­tė (1984). The de­ve­lop­ment of re­se­arch net­work in Lit­hu­a­nia and key scien­ti­fic pub­li­ca­tions are dis­cus­sed in this ar­tic­le.
